Oregon Daily Emerald
From fall of 2009 through spring of 2010, I was the higher education reporter for the Oregon Daily Emerald, the daily newspaper at the University of Oregon. I wrote three to six articles a week, ranging from profiles to pieces on the state higher education budget. Out of the 72 articles I wrote, here’s some of my best work:

Oregon Commentator
I was a member of the Oregon Commentator, a student-run journal of opinion at the University of Oregon, from the spring of 2007 through summer 2009, where I started as a staff writer and worked my way up to editor-in-chief. In addition to writing articles for the magazine, I became a primary contributor to the publication’s award-winning blog. During my tenure, the Oregon Commentator took 2nd place in the America’s Future Foundation College Blogger Contest two years in a row. Here’s a few of my best blog posts:
